What inspired you to pursue a career in dentistry?
My inspiration for pursuing a career in dentistry stemmed from my love of science and my desire to connect with others while making a meaningful impact. Dentistry offers a unique opportunity to help people feel confident and empowered about their health. Over time, I’ve grown to truly appreciate the artistic side of dentistry and take great pride in providing patients with long-lasting solutions that help preserve their natural teeth.
What is your favorite part about helping patients achieve their dream smiles?
My favorite part of helping patients achieve their dream smiles is knowing that their newfound confidence will lead to more joyful and authentic interactions in their daily lives. A beautiful smile can truly transform the way people see themselves and connect with others.
If you could share one tip for maintaining excellent oral health, what would it be?
I always recommend rinsing with water before brushing to remove lingering acidic food particles, which helps protect your enamel. It’s also essential to focus on brushing along the gum line to maintain healthy gums and prevent buildup.

Dr. Terese Fay is a graduate of Georgetown University and earned her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She has attained a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, demonstrating her exceptional expertise through over 500 hours of continuing education. Additionally, Dr. Fay has received advanced training from prestigious dental institutes such as the Pankey Institute and the Dawson Academy. These institutes have equipped her with specialized knowledge in comprehensive care, occlusion, aesthetics, sleep apnea, and TMJ treatments.
Dr. Fay's passions lies in preserving and protecting natural tooth structure. She takes pride in reconstructing teeth that may have traditionally required root canal or extraction, employing biomimetic dentistry principles to fabricate long-lasting, life-like restorations that seal and safeguard the tooth. Driven by her expertise in digital dentistry, she can digitally simulate a patient's bite and offer our patients a more comprehensive understanding of their preventive care options.
